One River North is a ground up, Opportunity Zone development in the River North neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The 187-unit apartment building was designed by MAD Architects and Davis Partnership Architects to feature a landscaped canyon along the outer facade. One River North opened in spring 2024 and was named an honoree in Fast Company’s 2025 Innovation by Design Awards under the architectural design category.

Inspired by the concept of biophilia, the landscape design of One River North immerses residents in Colorado flora and environs. Every element was chosen to boost residents’ living experience and aims to foster community and strengthen connections.
